The space and bag hooks are great for getting to work and the shops quickly. I work full time here finding transport for people in Australia in a kind of call ...

I still tinker with bikes and cars and I even have a little a scooter here I renovated. The world is a, lot different this last year for everyone I guess. I ha...

The valves on these engines tend to pocket more as the heads are very small on the inlet valves being 3 of them they will close the gaps up quicker than the exhaust valves. I think your readings are correct and it will be hard to start now but will run a lot better when you put the smaller shims in.

I have found any grease only attracts the soot and turns into sticky black crap..i fit them dry...the soot is lubrication thats how variable vane geometry turbos lubricate themselves...

As soon as you introduce oil or grease then they collect it and jam.

Might just be a little sliver of crap stopping the float valve closing. identify which side carb it is by the overflow pipe and just give those 2 carbs a look at...you can do this on the bike if your careful.

I had trouble with the jet holder seals before I was sure they were allowing a little fuel to transfer from the main to the idle circuit and vice versa.

Busters

I bought a battery from busters bike spares on ebay (also known as m+p) 10 months later it failed so I asked if it was still in warranty because i know i didnt abuse it at all...

They asked me to send it back to the suppliers and the suppliers sent me a better one and refunded the postage.

Spot on.
