Has anyone done this before or heard of using the Exup carbs on a Genesis engine?
I was talking to a lad who said he used to run his genesis race bike with exup carbs and said it made the world of difference... He said the airbox didn't fit, so he used the K&N filters...
Thoughts?

Thunderace Rev problem
So the thunderace has had the exup valve and servo removed, so reports the fault through the tacho... However, unless you are going down the road, the engine won't rev past 7k RPM. Is this a 'feature' of the bike cause of the exup valve issue? or is there something more going on?

Engine swap question
Anyone know what's involved in putting a Thunderace engine in an '88 FZR 1000 Genesis? I'm aware of the loom, CDI, and that the lower engine mounts for the Genesis cradle arms are still in the engine.... anyone else know what else I'm gonna be smacking my head against a brick wall over?

so after getting the exhaust off and all the holes ground out and welded up, I decided to fit the stubby can, took the angle grinder out to grind the heads off the old bolts as they were cheap anodised ones that had been stripped out, and then fit it's replacement...
