Had the same issue. Problem is the single seat cowl. Take it off and the seat will lock straight into position. I ended up making some replacement clips to secure my cowl. No issues now. Locks straight in every time. I've been thinking of doing this, as I said I'd broken one of the tabs off but had...

Seat Locking Problems

Hi Guys I have always had trouble trying to lock the seat back in position on my 91 model, occasionally you'll get it first go, but mostly you can be there for 5-10 minutes trying to line it up and getting it to click into place, (not good when your mates are all there with their bikes running and w...

I love riding up there. :D :D :D Great pictures as always mate, I remember Hawes and some of the oth...

Re: Another ride out.

I had a ride out to Richmond in North Yorkshire yesterday. Its a lovely part of the world up there. :D Like my other rides, there was hardly any traffic on the roads. It was nice to be able to stretch the old girls legs a bit without cars getting in the way. :paranoid: It was market day in Richmond...

Original Toolkit

Does anyone have a picture or a list of what would have been in the original toolkit that would have come with a 91 3GM model? mine was missing when I bought the bike last year, I haven't seen any come up for sale so I'll just make one up if I have too, also I would think a chance they were the same...

A lovely trio of bikes there Steve. Tell me how the number plate system works out there. I can see on one of your plates New Historic Vehicle Could you re-register the FSIe or is it too much red tape? It actually says NSW (New South Wales) Historic Vehicle on the LC John, you can put a bike or car ...

Thanks John, that picture I sent you was taken late last year at the Burragorang Valley Lookout, which overlooks the Warragamba Dam Water Catchment area, this supplies Sydney with around 80% of our water, very popular spot for a ride out, I'll put some more pictures up now I know how to Cheers Stev...

Interesting ! My us 91 has dark blue where there is grey on your bike. Tank and cowl are the same though. Pics in the for sale forum I tried to find a full decal set for it, just to put away for a rainy day as they say when I first got it last year, I think someone on here put me onto a guy in Pola...
