Damper Locating 2
Hello. I was wondering if anyone has a (3GM-24182-00 Damper locating 2) available. They are the small blocks that support the tank at the side. I am in need of one and they are rare - not seen one on ebay - not available discontinued at Fowlers. Thanks.

With the carbs off the bike if you remove the float bowls each carb can be checked by closing three of the carbs fuel inlets using the floats using string if needed but be gentle. The fourth carb inlet can be checked by blowing into the fuel line and operating the float. Also if you have a pressure g...

If you are sure your motor, ignition and fuel delivery system to carbs is ok then the carbs will need at least a minor strip down. There are a number of points within the carbs including needles, emulsion tubes, jets, pilot screw setting and leakage and diaphragm splits. It would cost a bit and take...

Don't want to screw with your plans too much but wouldn't it be better to strip it down first. If the motor is totalled you could end up buying parts you cannot use. Also you would find your problem first then make a plan. If you are willing to ship from abroad you will find a motor in Europe if one...

Ok, I get it now.
I know my genesis is not an exup, but I now understand why the FZR is a well respected bike. Happy to say it got its MOT with only a headlamp adjustment required. Anyway, took it for a 30 mile road test and that's when I got it. Handles really well, nice secure stance and turns into a cruise missile...

If you go up about 1 cm from the tip of the arrow in your picture you will be at the point where the housing bulges out. There at two raised dots on the top lip of the bulge. If you hover over the ebay picture it picks them up much better. It seems these marks appear on genesis, exup and thunderace....
