had a great run out on it at the Weekend. I had an R1 new in 1999, feels very similar, but I prefer the lower seat height to the R1

it has lovely balance, and the engine pulls like a train !

Thanks to everyone that helped me get it back on the road

There are no flats on them to fit with tools. Has anyone fitted a set long term, and not had any issues wit...

Fault is now cured I hope this thread will become useful for any other users in the future As a recap, the bike would start and idle from cold (using choke), and continue to idle when choke closed. As soon as any throttle input was applied, it would stall I found the pilot circuit was blocked, in fa...

I managed to get the Pilot air jets out after soaking with Kroil, good stuff recommended as its helped numerous times with seized items https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48497384367_ce7866d560_z.jpg Now that everything has been stripped, inspected, cleaned and ready for assembly, there is one aspe...

just to update this thread, I stripped the carbs and as Stig suggested, pilot jets blocked solid I've managed to strip everything down, but could not get the pilot air jets out, was worried about breaking the tangs, they are pretty tight Any hints/tips for removal, I've sprayed some lube in there an...

thanks for responses I'm thinking is it the digital ignitor box, as it appears ignition. As soon as it sees throttle input, cuts dead. Do the bikes have a throttle switch ? The cars were fully serviced about a Year ago, I know how the fuel can contaminate, but before I rip them off the bike, just t...
