I'm suffering from the huge disappointment of having poor midrange that having no exup valve causes, on my 96 Ace.
So, as I have one piece down pipes and collector box I need the lot I should expect...
I'd really appreciate some advice on what options I have....

Thunder Ace brake problem
The Ace I acquired about two months ago has always had iffy brakes... definitely not the famed Yamaha 'Blue Spot' Stoppers. When all of my stuff to give her a service had arrived I decided today was the day, so I start with a front brake bleed... The fluid wasn't particularly grotty but brownish, th...

Gearing on a Thunderace
I am impressed by the info in the workshop area "Gearing on a Thunderace" Original article submitted by Yeasshhh But I may have made a mistake yesterday afternoon (under the influence of a 'sesh' with the few brave enough to call themselves my mates!) I read the article and thought that so...

Thanks Stig, I'll bear it in mind.
Bloody hell, Nuggitt, how did you find that? I didn't even know that site existed. If I can figure out how to order it, I'm sorted!

'96 Thunderace Chain Guard seal
Need some help, Guys.... please! It seems that the chain guard seal (that black bit of plastic that fits over the swing arm and stops the chain scoring great channels in your swing arm) for a '96 Thunder Ace is unavailable. Does anyone know if any other Yam models had the same swing arm as the Ace, ...

Newbie's first round
Hi everyone. I've just acquired my second Ace (i bought a new one back in '96 but a change of circumstances saw me let it go two years later). I loved my Ace! The torque, the sure-footed stability and the brakes I thought were... well, Ace. My new-to-me Ace is nearly exactly the same as my first (bl...
