full strip down
Well, looking at my bike, I've decided I'm not going to get it ready for the summer. If I do bang it all together, it's going to be half arsed, which wouldn't do the old thing justice. So I'm going to strip it down to the frame and do it properly. I've brought a dyno labeler, to mark up the loom and...

I was trying to get my bike running on Sunday morning (still having trouble) When a guy that recently moved in wanders over and says that its the carbs. I asked him if he knew a bit about bikes. - " well I'm recently retired from 26 years as a police motorbike mechanic and I used to build race ...

I had the same with a Renault 5 Turbo. Won the auction then asked when I could pick it up and he turns around and says he could break it for more than that and couldn't let it go at that price. My reply was use Gumtree to sell if you want to fuck someone around, not an auction site. I've just about ...

'87 FZR 1000 tidy up
Well I've started stripping the old bus down and the list grows a bit longer with each turn of the spanner :) I've replaced the rusted EBC discs with standard ones, fitted the R1 blue spots which I still haven't got around to bleeding.. flushed out the cooling system which was full of rusty brown wa...

Seat Cowl Pad
Well, I'm restoring the seat cowl that I picked up, but I'm having problems with the pad for it. I know this is going to have to be a make it myself job, but I'm having trouble finding anywhere that supplies the materials needed.
Has anyone made one before?
Cheers
