Well I've started stripping the old bus down and the list grows a bit longer with each turn of the spanner :) I've replaced the rusted EBC discs with standard ones, fitted the R1 blue spots which I still haven't got around to bleeding.. flushed out the cooling system which was full of rusty brown ...

I used Gunk on mine last weekend.took a hose to wash it off and took a lot of the paint off too! ( Black engine) made it look worse than when it was dirty....

Well, I'm restoring the seat cowl that I picked up, but I'm having problems with the pad for it. I know this is going to have to be a make it myself job, but I'm having trouble finding anywhere that supplies the materials needed.
Has anyone made one before?

Early R1 is a good call. What about an early Blade? They seem to be a good investment as well.
