ok. standard FZ clipons sit above the the top yoke but exup clipons sit below the top yoke and catch the fairing but not a problem for you

Above is the japaneese website I found them but I got them from Sato racing in america. Do you FZR clipons and mastercylinders clear your fairing.

Use everything from the exup. A couple of shock mounting bushes will need machining but nothing drastic. The gussit plates with the holes for the shock to go through will filing away near the swingarm pivot bolt to let the shock lean forward and line up. I'll try and post a photo next time i'm home.

Thanks for your comments. Its a 90 1000exup engine with acropovic down pipes and one off link pipe and end can. Exhaust strap is home made to. handles like an old FZ still but brakes better. Engine oil cooler catches front mudguard under heavy braking. I need to move the cooler or swap for later FZR...

Engine went straight in, very tight fit around the carbs and the bottom frame rails were the oil coller lines come out of the engine casing. Swing arm just need a couple of bushes making up. I've more details if needed.
