Yes I did question if it could be the clutch and ended up replacing the whole lot with no improvement. It also only ever happens in second gear which is why i have stripped the motor.

The bike never popped out of second gear it was almost like someone was dipping the clutch occasionally but only in second gear. Looking at the dogs would say there isnt a huge ammount of wear, no big radious on the corners of the dogs ets. How little wear would it take to cause a problem? The locat...

Engine strip

So finally got around to splitting my engine after bike was skipping in second gear. Go to the transmission expecting to find all the locating dogs in a mess but seem to be alright? ive attached some pictures see if maybe im missing something? Pods and jeting

Toying with the idea of putting a set of pods on my exup. Has anyone run a set on their bikes? Is there a lot of jetting involved to get running rite? Or am i better off just sticking with standard airbox?

Hypothetical engine question

I currently have a 87 genesis and a 90 exup. would the wiring loom from the 87 work with the exup motor? Obviously i understand would mean i would have no exup but would it run etc or are the connections completely different? Just exploring some options before start buying possibly unnecessary parts...

That's good news. I will be running multiple single led's for the indicators and have bought a led flasher relay. I believe this only had 2 wires coming off it though. Which wires would I need to connect for this to work? Or have I got the wrong thing. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&i...
