Re: Valve Cover Oil Weep
Never heard of this issue. Has anyone had the engine apart previously that you know of?

Re: 2025 EXUP Rally
Great idea. That means I’ve def got to pull my finger out and get the bike sorted
For me there’s a few curve balls to sort beforehand like getting a car sorted for work. Things are in hand though but it’s the waiting on other folk that’s the problem

Re: WANTED - A DREAM
What a shame
There are still some nice second hand bikes out there if you bide your time. Fortunately the EXUP hasn’t yet acquired the desirability of the LC’s so prices are still realistic
I’ll keep my eye out if you don’t mind a low milage 2nd hand

Re: Gear lever seal.
A small seal pick down the side of the selector shaft makes life simple
Bit of plastic film and oil over the end of the shaft when you push the new seal over the splines to stop damage to new seal lip

Re: Manual Cam chain tensioner procedure
To eliminate Exup rattle adjust the cable so the valve isn’t resting against its home stop in the chamber

Re: The rebirth of a 1990 fzr1000
There’s a way of arranging the rubbers so the screws face the headstock AND keeping all the original notches. I’ve done it to my own
Easy way is to set the rubbers on the table with notches aligned with the carb notches, then flip and arrange the clips to suit

Re: The rebirth of a 1990 fzr1000
Face all the clamp screws so they point towards the headstock. Inlet rubbers can be flipped and rotated so they face where you need
Let me know the length of the clamp screws you need. I bought in bulk so should have some. Unfortunately I buy a lot of items like this so have lots of options ...
