Well I picked the Tuono up today and what a nice bike to ride, very docile and easy until you open it up and then the pull is brutal, I couldn't resist a 2nd gear pull as soon as I got the chance and my god does it go, even leaning as far forward as I could, the wheel was coming up until I bottled i...

Well that didn't go exactly to plan as I decided to hell with it I am getting myself a gsxr 1000. Went to see one and ended up leaving a deposit on an aprilia tuono fighter instead. Absolutely gorgeous bike with an akropovic endcan that sounds awesome.

Burgman 650 have I lost the plot.

Anyone ridden one of these things. After being single for the last 18 months I have decided that I must do something to change my current pastime of just sitting in front of netflix for hours on end. I am looking forward to getting the fzr out of hibernation when it warms up a bit but I know that I ...

Cheers nuggitt that looks just the job. Draining the tank would be a bit of a faff for me at the moment as the bike is stored in a garage away from where I am living and without tools etc.

Fuel stabilizer

Anyone got any recommendations for fuel stabilisers. I normally just lock it up over winter without caring but have spent so much time and money getting her running spot on this year that I don't want to be pulling it all apart again next year.

I have been popping in but it has been a shitty year so far, I have got the exup pretty well sorted, it is running lovely and the new tyres are a revelation, however due to the break up of my 29 year marriage I have now lost my home and have had to move back in with my parents whilst I lick my wound...

Well that was certainly an eye opener, I never realised that an old bus like the fzr could feel so planted. I have always struggled to keep a tight line on faster corners and have had many scary moments over the years, not today though, after about 10 miles of gentle riding I started to open it up a...

Thought I had better get some new tyres lol

Was working out the other day just how old my tyres were, I had them fitted when I first bought the bike, the rear was bought new but the front was a used one so no idea how old it already was at the time, what I do know though is that they were fitted over 19 years ago  They still looked like ...

Oh I certainly intend on making the most of the summer. I have decided that I am going to put some miles on it and then when winter comes I am going to strip it and restore it, just got to decide on what colour to do it. I had my heart set on a v+m paint scheme but the guy I saw for a quote thought ...

Finally it looks as if I have cracked it. I took the o-rings off of the float holders so that I could ensure they were fitted flush and set the floats at 13mm and it seems to have cured it. I did a 100 miles on it today and the only time it played up was after a 10 mile motorway session where it sta...

Bike is now back together so thought I would go for a ride but it was a pig to start, when it finally did fire up it was only running on 3 cylinders and fuel was pouring out of the overflow  For fecks sake how many more times am I going to have to pull these carbs off. Would I be right in ...

No idea yet as I didn't ask as it needed doing whatever really. They are friends though that I have known for 25+ years so I know that they won't rip me off.
