I don't know how to explain this but my bike has a kind of transmission freeplay... for example standing still with the engine off, engaging any gear the bike still could move about 20cm forwards and backwards.
Is this normal?

UK registration
It seems my stay is extending so I need to register my exup here in UK... should I replace the headlights and the clocks to get the MOT? Or anything else in particular that I should consider before? It's a '95 3LE model, first registration in Germany.

750/1000 carb jets
I'm trying to revive an old project, 3D ignition charts with "TCIP4" ignitor module from Ignitech and for this I needed a TPS sensor. I've got an YZF750 carb set that comes with TPS fitted on carb #4 and was thinking to transfer all jets from my spare FZR1000 carb set as they were suppose ...

Blue/Gold spot calipers upgrade >> BRAKE PADS MOD
After replacing the front brake calipers with an R1'03 gold spot set I've noticed the brake pads (EBC HH) are too wide and will actually touch the discs rivets (or how are called that things that makes the discs floating). To complete the upgrade the brake pads will have to be modified too, removing...

exup servo voltage
If anybody interested, I've finally (!!!) managed to measure the exup servo feedback voltages, it may be needed if using an aftermarket ignitor like TCIP4. https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_/photo/AF1QipN0Ghu9EXgsW6bCtbF2JgITXOjzI4eeLABPMMMg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b250/stigsdump/EXUP/...

thermostat diameter
Engine running cold... ish, like 70 C, today took out the thermostat, boiled in the water and still don't know what's happening. The bloody thing seems to be working alright, start opening around 82 C... However, want to try a new one but forgot to note down the diameter, is it 52... or 54mm? Cheers!
