Rear wheel is 17"x5.5" so 180/55 tire is the way to go.

T-Ace forks are right side up and 48mm. You can probably make them work in the FZR if you were to swap out the whole triple tree, but not sure it's worth the trouble.

I had a go on one when they first came out. Not having ridden the other current sport bikes out there other than the ZX-10 I didn't have anything to else to compare it to. However, I was impressed by how light and powerful it felt. Can see why it's one of the top (if not the top) sport bike out ther...

Well came across a brand new Yoshimura RS-3C slip-on for practically nothing and I just couldn't resist. The fit and build quality is much better than the Remus'. Only thing I wish is that it was a little shorter. Left the dbkiller out for now and it sounds amazing :D http://img.photobucket.com/albu...

Well some updated pics. Installed a clear Puig double bubble screen and a red front fender from a YZF600 (Thundercat). IMHO it looks much better than with the black fender. Enjoy :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v664/tmarquez1/1997%20YZF1000_2/IMG_2199.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v664/...

They look good but are a real pain to keep them clean, though.
Very true, but given how they transformed the look of the bike I'll deal with the cleaning :)

looks like you've put alot of love into that bike and it shows   Thanks :) It did take quite a bit of my time, not to mention $$$, to get it to this level. At this point I'm pretty much done, other than painting the front mudguard red. The black just looks out of place on the bike ev...

 looks smart for a wide one :D silver spots too. Just out of curiosity...are the pistons alloy on those, the walls being approx 3mm thick? Hey nothing wrong with a little "junk in the trunk" :D As for the calipers, I'm not really sure, but I didn't think they were any different ...

My "new" YZF1000

Well after selling my last one and buying a 2006 FZ1 I wanted an EXUP again and came across a good deal on a '97 YZF1000. The best part was that I was able to keep the FZ1 as well. Spent the past Winter taking it apart down to the frame. About the only thing I didn't touch was the engine (well other...

I've bought from them in the past, but of course I am in the states so it makes it much easier. Just need to be careful with what you buy as some of the tools are not exactly of the highest quality.

Re: 1 More thing?

If you check out the Slide show of the Cans (Top of Page) you may have noticed that I have Photoshopped the Colours out of 1 shot! so its Just "Black", Better with the Silver/Blue? Better as all Black? What do you think?? Personally I have never liked all black on motorcycles so I vote fo...
