whats your mpg?

Post by jcr »

what sort of mpg are your Exups getting?

i run my Thunderace on premium fuel (usually esso) and im averaging about 57 mpg.

im not a fast rider by any standards. i stay within the speed limits most of the time. although i do like to take the bike into the upper rev range when i find a bit of quiet road.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

i think if i rode spiritedly enough to drop to 40 mpg, id lose my licence pretty quick

in all honesty, im finding the speed of a litre bike a bit frustrating.
its great fun getting into the power band, but its nearly all in highly illegal territory.

luckily, the low down pull is quite fun too :D
