I've been cooped up like a caged tiger in the house for over 10 days due to all these showers popping up in the weather forecast. Yesterday was a cracking day for a ride. I keep saying this but the traffic was very light once again, especially on the A59 from Harrogate to Skipton. There's usually a convoy of lorries on that route but not many about yesterday. Mind you I had a fire engine up my asre doing 70mph going down hill.
Had a nice healthy lunch and a breather at Kirkby Lonsdale.
I then decided to go and see Eric. It was only another 16 miles to travel. I went to see him for some Sunshine, Laughter and Love.
Clocked up another 237 miles on the trip out. I did get a bit lost going back through Harrogate. It is a bit of a nightmare that place, but all good fun.
