Hard Luggage

Post by ExupAde »

Greetings exupers!

Anyone ever fitted hard luggage (Givi, or similar) to EXUP RU - '91 model?

Hi,

I tried to find for my '89, without luck ... Actually, I did not find anything for FZR, either Genesis or all the Exup generations... If you find something, I am interested!

If you are fitting hard luggage you're travelling too heavy. I used to do 7 - 10 days scratching around Europe on my Foxeye just using a tankbag. No passenger of course. That's what cages are for.
Keep on keepin' on.

Well, for me it would be to secure the helmet(s) and / or a laptop when leaving the bike mainly...

Also to keep the lock (when I think about taking one :D ) instead of in a tankbag.

To be honest, it is really for comfort as my last bike with hard luggage was my XJ900 that I sold in 2006.

Ive been using krausers K2 for 20 years. is it for an RU or the RWU model?
If local your welcome to pop round (wolverhampton) and have a look at the brackets then just find some old ones on ebay they come up all the time because you cant get the brackets anymore. They sit secure are waterproof and hold tons. I have had them on both models, the RWU i have the krauser brackets and the RU I had the diagram from krauser and made the bracket (it works fine had it on for 30000 miles).
