Great Bank Holiday Runs

Arrange to meet up to chew the fat, or enjoy a bimble through the twisties.

Great Bank Holiday Runs

Post by Teego »

So Sunday up the Gellia and on to Buxton, Long Hill and Whaley Bridge. Nice hot roads and sticky tyres - it matters on a car as well. Then over to Macclesfield via Rainow. Saw one of my old dreams coming the other way - Road legal F1 sidecar with passenger at full chat! Cat and Fiddle was fun - just cool it on the straights and boot it through the corners dashboard lights flashing up like a starship as the car wants traction and an upshift.
Good today as well. Ashbourne, Leek, Buxton via the Roaches. Outran an R1 on the Gellia coming home. Happy days and sod the fuel consumption. Sorry no pix.
So what have you all been doing?
Keep on keepin' on.

Yesterday I was stuck in the garage all day trying to fabricate a bracket to hold the new carbon chain guard properly. A bit boring I know but I'm out tomorrow for a ride out to Guisborough then on to Whitby. :D
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.
