Do I need to match all numbers on the ignitor.

I have a

3GM-01
TID14-72 A

As far as I'm aware I think the numbers have to match up. Hang fire till a fresher brain comes along. :nod:
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Anything 89/90 will fit. The ones with other codes will more than likely have the different Exup connector plug
The 750 can fit but it has a higher rev limiter which can cause over revving and engine damage.

There are a few with 3LH-01 from a 90

Better off searching original as although the other codes will fit and work, some of them may be from places like Germany or France where the CDI is restricted to 100bhp
