First off, can anyone please tell me the standard end can diameter for an RU? I'm working away from home with nothing to do after shift so giving ebay some hammer
On another note I'm sure quite a few other people on here have some older Japanese projects on the go (lc and kettle in my case).
I got some of these and they're a must if you're working on old jap bikes:

just measured my RU can.
Internal diameter of the bore at gasket joint is 58mm and the internal diameter of the gasket fitted itself is 50mm.
Struggling to put a pic up at mo but will try again.
