For a lovely sandwich in Thirsk. Give these a try.

The PLENTY SANDWICH SHOP in the square.

Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Guys,

I'm really enjoying this virtual tour of North Yorkshire. The locations are familiar, but from nearly 40 years ago.

We recently went back to visit my brother in law in Guisborough, who has sadly passed away, and now we have no living relatives North of Scunthorpe.

I can remember a time when I rode a Suzuki 80cc K11 all the way up Roseberry Topping (well pushed and carried it).

c. :)
