FZR1000 pre EXUP rear shock, can it be rebuilt?

So it looks like I cant use an EXUP shock on my Genesis. It doesn't look like there are any other standard shocks I can use either (unless anyone knows any different). So, does anyone know of anywhere I can get the original shock re built?
