Hi everyone I have just joined as last week I picked up a FZR1000 RU 1995.
I intend on doing it up of the winter as its had a rough life by the looks of it I have until April to get it sorted as me and 6 mates are booked to tour round Spain! We went over in April but I had not had a bike in over 25 years so got a Bandit 600 thinking it would be more than enough but ended up flat out most of the trip
Anyway always used to be a Yamaha man mostly LC's so I jumped at this FZR and this bike is going to be a keeper i hope.
Really pleased to find this forum and hope to be educated on my bike come April? I am on a budget so my bike will be more streetfighter style but my main aim this winter is to get it mechanically sound,then some bolt on bits and paint job.
