Is Thunderace generator a good direct replacement for standard exup ru unit??

Not yet but according to a thread on the other site it's ok, with a change of plug. Only just seen that info though.

Still interested to see if there are any negative views/opinions on if it's a good idea.

just double checked and the yzf750 is the one to go for there rated at 34a while the fzr/thunderace are both rated at 28a
