Petrol leak - Am i being thick ?

The place to come to share your technical expertise, or just find out what the little springy thing is that's just pinged out of sight under the work-bench.

Petrol leak - Am i being thick ?

Post by Hudders »

I've had my carbs off umpteen times before and this had never happened before.

There's 2 pipes, one between carbs 1 & 2 and the other between 3 & 4. They are on the bar that joins them all together. They go, so i thought, into a block underneath. This is what it looks like.

The petrol leak is coming out of the bottom off this block.

Are these pipes going to the correct place?
What is this block?

Thanks for the advise bud. Don't suppose you can point me in the right direction regarding these spring kit things?

How do i set the float height? Can you point out on the diagram you posted where the 14mm is from?
