Front headstock stand from ebay

Just wanted to let you know that if you buy one of these headstock stands that the pins do no fit the YZF750 properly. The biggest one will probably do, but I didn't want to risk my bike on a probably so I am making myself a new pin that fits properly. Just wanted to give you all the heads up.

First time you try it go bloody careful. The one I bought very nearly cracked my top fairing as it lifted the bike. The largest adaptor did not fit correctly so I made my own.

Mine works a treat, but my YZF doesn't have a fairing so that might explain why I don't have an issue?

i have always removes front fairings before fitting headstock lifting stands...

I bought my headstock stand from Windsor M/cs years ago & have since made up new adapters for the R1. Useful piece of kit, except when I need to sort the headrace bearings. I'll sort that when I come to it.
