Picked up my new bike last weekend.. A full power TL1000R. On a S plate but absolutely immaculate.. 11000 miles. Full dealer history.. totally standard apart from twin art cans... Very very loud!! sounds lovely it does.. :ninja: :ninja: Neighbours are gunna love me when i fire it up at 5.45 am to go to work tomorrow.. :ninja:

It puts its power out like a sledgehammer to the back of the head!! :nod: :lol:

Nice looking TL there - mans bike that! I rode a Firestorm and loved the sweet handling but the motor was dull, I then rode a TLS and the handling was nowhere near as good but the motor was mental and ideal for vertical foolery.
Something clever goes here but I can't be bothered!

i might be wrong but i'm sure it was the bimota sb8r that was TL powered
and won a world superbike race at phillip island in the wet .... antony gobert
was riding it if my memory serves

I had a firestorm for 2 yrs.. I swapped my original TL-S for it. I never thought the motor was dull.. TBH it was lovely compared to the TLS..I really regret sellin that one..
The TL-R is a different animal... a lot more refined compared to the S.. Still mental though!! :lol:

Yes pauly i think your right on that one.. The cagiva raptor had a tl motor.. They were about a civilised as a riot on D wing!! :nod: :lol:
