I don't imagine he has any intention of doing either on that bike mate. And as for buying a chopper, I'll say no more, your tastes are your own.

All I know is that anyone who puts as much love, attention and dedication into an Ex as Faststeve has deserves nothing but admiration. He's obviously got a lot of respect for his bike and I for one admire that.

I agree with the dedication bit mate he's done a bloody good job of it, and what a man does to his bike when he shuts the shed door is his buisness and I think his bike looks a realy nice show bike which may be what he intended ( maybe he will shed some light on that one) BUT by it not being faired he's reduced its ability to cut the wind so he's slowed it down not just from a top speed point of view but from a rider comfort point of view you'd get a stiff neck in no time going fast on that fella and end up slowing down, and because I'm a speed freak it woulden't do for me thats all I'm saying, needs a fairing and if it had one I'd be jelous, it looks a lovley bike to cut the road on to me.
Food for thought, never been on the motorway on a bike all this year, indicated 174mph between Satley and Wolsingham if you know the road, not on a Yamaha though!

more exciting than a boring old flat out blat down the motorway
I'd love to live in your world Arc, if 170mph is boring, you must leave one exciting life

Perhaps you got ellie to thank for that :D

But I love the fighter, it looks fast even at a standstill and lets face how often do you do 150mph+ and how long do you hold it there, for me big bikes are all about acceleration :D

But like wakwak says whatever floats your boat

I reserve the right not to answer on the grounds that I may incriminate myself. :D

I guess boring was probably the wrong word to use. I just get a lot more satisfaction out of tight low gear country back roads than flat out stuff is all.
Different horses and all that.
Maybe I should get a GSXR600 instead of the Ex, might be more suited. :paranoid:
