hi ellie & the rest of the board members,have only had this bike since april this year,has got 24k on the clock and i have some of the previous mot's,so the mileage looks about right ,5 of the inlet valves are tight on the clearences ,so when i rebuild it in the next couple of weeks all the vavles will be lapped in,correct clearences,new mains&big end shells,rings,stem rubbers,and a crank balance&weight match,should make the old girl rip,was going to dabble with a 1040&a6 speed box,but i like the bike as it is,just want to get her running like it should but "blue-printed",got a std exhaust/can&basically thats all that has been/will be done(other than the r1 brake mods),always wanted one of these beasts,used to race the engines many moons ago in grasstrack,tuned to the limit,great performance the boys still use them now! not bad eh fifteen years down the line,dave
