Well Chaps. its been a while, `i`ve been busy decorating/diy`ing. :crybaby:

Been having a play spraying the seat unit, not happy with the result so in the process of re-spraying it.

Finally got all the YZF750 bodywork (Thanks to Creedexup and Allconfused)

Had a go at fitting it all, all fits ok, had to "jiggle" a few brackets.

Only issue is the side panels catch the bottom corners of the rad, so might look at fitting a smaller YZF750 rad, don`t know if that will cause problems with running hot?

Heres a few pics of my progress. :D

I know this is an old thread but any updates on the Ace.

Just wondering with the 750 rear end it leaves the lugs on show on the fuel tank, any plans on removing them or using a 750 tank.

Cheers

Blimey, someones reading my old posts! :D
I sold the bike about a year ago, it went to Poland.
If you mean the lugs at the rear of the tank where the Ace panels bolted on, yes, they still could be seen, i did try and take them off on a spare wrecked tank i had, they ripped a hole in the tank.
If i remember, they were pretty well welded on, i was going to grind them down and use some filler over them to reshape the tank, but never got round to it i`m afraid.

In the end, i put the Ace front fairings back on and sold it like that, and sold all the YZF750 stuff.

:)

I've been doing lot's of late night reading on a few of the Yami forums and one of them linked to here and one on here linked to some where else.

Just thought I'd ask as I like the Ace front with the 750 rear, only thing I don't like is the lugs and tank crease of the Ace when another seat is fitted. Also since the Ace and 750 frame is almost all the same thought hey why not put the 750 tank on aswell.

Well this is one of my thoughts recently.....

Cheers for the reply.
