Once found myself nearly missing an arm courtesy of one of those mutts. An old girlfriends parents had one. Knocked on front door, she opens it and dog swallows my arm to past elbow joint. Made a right mess of my jacket sleeve.

It also used to leap out of the garden and chase people on pushbikes. Wasn't funny the day it caught up with a granny who couldn't outrun it. Dog nearly had to be destroyed. Granny nearly had to be put down too.
