nice lids mate...and top price too!

I've had Shoei for.....well lets just say a long time and found them faultless!

Probs with lids are....you've either got an ARAI shaped head, or a SHOEI shaped head....there ain't many folk that can get away with comfortably wearing both makes :paranoid: ...especially at the same time

here's mine

I've had Arais for the last 17 years (always black) and I just think they are getting just too pricey.
The Shoei is just as good if not better for a fraction of the cost.
Hopefully it lasts as long as my last Arai which is now 14 years old and apart from the lining starting to fall out is still in perfect nick

Funny you should say that Stig.
I used to wear a Shoei, and it was uncomfortable as hell. . . I put up with it 'cause it was a Wayne Gardner rep, my hero at the time.
Then I got my Mick rep, Arai, and it fits like a glove, just a little too noisy unfortunately, but that's why god invented earplugs.

well Rob,

that there lid of mine is a bit of a mungrel...like me I 'spose

Its an ARAI paint job of Sakata's official race lid (before they were commercially released) done on a SHOEI lid (coz thats wot fit me best) :D

mind... it cost our lass an arm an' a leg, coz none of that lot is stickers...its all air brush work

It will have to be some bit of kit to suffer you shoving that big baw face in to it on a regular basis....
