    A good price is all I'm interested in. Had it 2 years next month. Exup lasted 6 months longer. Got a hole burning in me credit card. Mind 42 months 0% at Yamaha is very tempting. Gonna see how things pan out money wise. :unibrow:

Is that on a R1 at RRP and what deposit do they want?

No new bikes for me this year though. Considering everyone's supposed to be skint and it's autumn, bikes are still overpriced compared to book.

No what I said was the riding position I found to be very painful. Ace might be wide and ugly, but I can still walk after 400 miles, and have some feeling in me hands after 200 miles. Exup torture chamber no thanks. :\ If it had been more comfortable, I'd have never sold it. :p :p Go on keep baiting me, there's a local Honda dealer and Suzuki dealer within walking distance. :D

Lee, D&K, no f**king chance, I'd rather pay 2 grand more and go to Steve.

And sorry to Stinkwheel as his thread has got hijacked.

I've got no sentiment where cold hard cash is concerned. It would take me 6 monthe to get the extra 2 grand together if I spent on nothing else.

It's all academic anyway because to me all dealers are thieves, whether it's new or used and I don't think I would ever buy a new bike even if I had the cash in my hands while I was in the dealership. I would rather go straight to the owner of a good used bike and cut out the middle man (and the grand+ they add on).

I know what you mean about DK but it was just an example. Fowlers are also 2 grand under RRP and probably countless others are too.

5 miles from the guys house it had oil lights, engine check lights and loss of power, smoke out the back. He cralwed it back there and was all set to park it across the guys drive, but the fella, to his credit, coughed the cash back up. Thanks da lawd it was so close to the guys home though and not a day, week, month down the line.
