Worth the wait....

Post by Troyboy37 »

Hi Peeps, Finally got the Ace on the road...

Had to go through various stages to get it as I wanted it...

Firstly had to remove the ugly carbon frame guards..
Image

This left the issue of trying to remove the black gutter silicon, I used a sharp knife and acetone, but thus resulted in the frame being scatched to hell.. so Painted this rather than trying to polish it...

Put the spare panels on to get it through the MOT, it failed on fork seals, but sorted now..

Sprayed the bellypan and stuck on the new stickers, can you spot the spare decal....
Image

Fitted the Box onto the rear sports rack using tie wraps, just so that missus and kids are safer.... plus it only takes 5 mins to fit/remove when I'm solo...
Image

View from front withe the spare panel and bellypan whilst I sprayed the sides and new (Blue) bellypan...

Pic of sprayed side with decals on...

And finally got all sorted, now with baglux tank cover, front headlight cover....
Image

Done lots of mods from front R1 gold spots to the rear tail tidy and mini indicators....

What do ya think.....does it look tidy enough to go on the ride outs with you guys...?????

 Looks very tidy. :unibrow: You don't live far from Wakwak. Maybe organising a ride out next month, so you'd be welcome to tag along with the Lincoln people I should imagine, when they come over our way.

Good work there.
Did you have to cut down the original plastic undertray/battery box to fit the tail tidy?
I have one to fit to mine. :D
