dog bones to jack it up? did the bones on the fzr 155s on it made it to twitchy dont like quick steering and i always think bike manufacturers spend a lot of money designing bikes if changing the length of the bones would have made them better then im sure yamaha would have done that thats just my view tho im prob talkin shi* :lol:

No its what you prefer. I jacked up my exup and it steered better, so when the ohlins went on me Ace, I tried for nearly a year riding around with a jacked up bike I could hardly touch the ground on tip toes with. I've shortened the shock and it handles much better now. I've got stainless doggies fitted, but they were a spare exup set I aquired, and their about standard length. Just look nicer than old rusty ones. :nod:

My dogs are 157`s not to high,just right.
If yamaha made bikes how they wanted to they would probably have shorter dogs on. Only trouble would be all the lawsuits so handling has to be a compromise, not to sharp, not to lazy. You know the bikes that handle well, ktm ,ducati, aprillia. R1 is handling for the masses.
