Couple more little jobs done.
New slave cylinder seals fitted, and sprocket clover and slave cylinder fitted.

And finally for today, fitted the rear part of front mudguard and cleaned up the discs a little.

Cheers Al, i still need a couple of bits, left hand seat panel and left hand mid front fairing panel, i`m trying to repair a few bits to save some cash.
So far, i`ve managed to save the front mudguard, the top fairing and the bellypan has a small crack that needs repairing.
Just waiting on some warmer weather so i can try a bit of spraying.
Probably be roadworthy early June hopefully.

Anyway, a little more progress, crack in front mudguard repaired and rubbed down ready for some primer filler

A couple of Ebay purchases arrived and fitted, rear seat fairing infill and a STRAIGHT screen brace, mine was too far gone to save.

The clocks are resting on the yoke, just wanted to see if they worked ok, fired her up and everythings good, ran her up to temp to check the cooling fans worked ok, no problems there.

And finally for today, had to mod the top fairing slightly.
The piece behind the mirror had broke off, so tidied that side up and cut off the other side to match.
Didn`t have to cut much off, so hopefully will look ok with the screen fitted, but it will do for this summer if it looks odd.

This was the damaged side, tidied up.

This is what i cut off on the other side.

And the end result, looks ok to me so far.

Starting to come together very nicely.

Quick question, what did you cut the fairing with? I need to trim a very small bit off my belly pan, and a file takes ages.

Chris, i used a dremmel type thing with a little grinding disc in it to cut it, then finished it off with sandpaper.
It still needs finishing with some wet and dry before i sparay it.

Now that MrsRF9`s SV is done, work continues on the Ace!
Clutch and brakes bled, all working nicely, ran the bike and all gears select and run ok.
