I've got a problem yestrday and today whereby I wake up at about 4am with spasm in my back about opposite the bottom of my ribs. The spasm extends to all of my stomach muscles and my sides (i.e. everything locks up in my trunk).

After sitting up for half an hour it subsides and I'm fine, can go to work etc.

I am not able to roll about in bed becase lying on my right side huts, so am pretty much lying half on my back and half on my lefy side and that's where I stay.

Any thoughts? I went to the doctor on Monday and he reckoned averything was coming on nicely and it started on Tuesday... bl00dy typical. :(

Broken ribs? Er I did say they hurt worse when they start to knit back together. At least you can breath without too much pain. Could also be a bit of muscle damage too. Otherwise you'll have to mooch along to A&E and see if they'll x-ray you. :unibrow:

I got a letter from the police yesterday saying that no further action will be taken.

So I guess that's an end to it and at least they're not playing silly beggers and trying to do me for due care or dangerous driving etc.
