Thanks for your comments. Its a 90 1000exup engine with acropovic down pipes and one off link pipe and end can. Exhaust strap is home made to. handles like an old FZ still but brakes better. Engine oil cooler catches front mudguard under heavy braking. I need to move the cooler or swap for later FZR rad which cools the oil filter housing. Does anyone know what needs to blanked or swapped to do this mod.

Exupfreak knows the swap. Quite a lot of changes around the sump. maybe swapping for RU motor is better option.
Converted to pedal power. Now skinny as fook.

I'm working on exactly the same project. Exup front end, blue spots, exup swinger and shock, exup wheels.

I'm keeping the 750 motor for now, maybe upgrade at a later date.

I'm having difficulty making the rear shock fit, it seems to be about 40mm too long, any tips???

I've done custom dogbones for this sort of thing to lower the rear end. Not sure what combination of fittings were being used tho'.....
whether or not it was the exup rocker and so forth

there's one of the lads on the site thats done a similar conversion...roadhog maybe??

Use everything from the exup. A couple of shock mounting bushes will need machining but nothing drastic. The gussit plates with the holes for the shock to go through will filing away near the swingarm pivot bolt to let the shock lean forward and line up. I'll try and post a photo next time i'm home.

Above is the japaneese website I found them but I got them from Sato racing in america. Do you FZR clipons and mastercylinders clear your fairing.

I Have no idea, I'm going for streetfighter bars, and tope yoke risers, with an after market streetfight headlamp setup.

I had considered a replacement fairing from Skidmarx, but it's alot of painting that I'm not lloking forward to doing. :D
