I was turning up a street near me, 20mph, speed bumps you get the idea, there was a car in front of me as we went up the street 20-25mph, she, without any indication in any direction started to pull over to the right, so I thought she was going to stop on the right. I moved over to the left a bit ready to pass her when there was room but she then swung her car round to the left because she was pulling into her drive. So basically at this point she was right across the front of me and I slammed into the side of her, hitting her car (ford focus) in the passenger side rear door, the back wheel came up and because she didn't stop,(instead deciding to carry on to her drive) the back end came round and trapped my right leg inbetween bike and car and as she carried on driving I was being scraped along the side of her car and my right leg then ripped her back bumper off. Finally my bike fell over and her boyfriend came running out shouting 'she was indicating' and began to threaten me, I don't do being threatened off anybody even if they are bigger than me. (he was) So I ran at him and he ran way, I took my lid off and asked him if he wanted a good hiding, he didn't, he still shouted at me from about 15 feet away though. Theres a load of druggie scum in that street and before you know it everyones seen what happened and it was my fault, I was speeding. If I was, she was because we both turned up the street together.

Some pics. :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:

Also the metal frame thingy behind the fairing is bent. As for my forks I'll have a ride round on it, if it feels ok, then that'll do for me, they don't look bent.

:( :( :( Thats a real downer metalface. Dozy bitch wants a retest on how to use rear view mirror. As for the boyfriend good on ya. Crafty bast**d he sounds. Answer to your question OEM is the same as standard. Your forks do like Plodder suggested, but put them back finger tight, roll bike about 10 yards and slam front brake on. Get a mate to run over and tighten pinch bolts on yoke while you hold brake on.

OK you don't need a screen then. My black cowling is nothing to write home about or I would have sold it. Maybe it will see you through and you can fix yours up or something.

Just do what's required to get on the road and don't worry what it looks like until you can get it sorted properly.

Jasegee tells me he has a full RU body kit and he's only in Wigan. No idea what he wants for it though.
Converted to pedal power. Now skinny as fook.

What's happening with this one?

Are they wanting you to pay for the damage to their car or what?

If not, I'd question why as she may not be covered.

Or are you pushing for them to pay for yours?

Why do I have wheel it forward and slam on before I tighten the bolts.

With the pinch bolts finger tight it allows your forks to correct themselves in line with the front wheel. Then you just hold it there while someone tightens them back up. Sort find their own natural position. Yeah it sounds a bodge, but after every spill I always did that just to make sure the forks were in right. If their bent it'll judder like buggery when you yank that front brake on. And don't try it on gravel like my mate did.

You can see by the damage that you wern't speeding. If you hadn't told me, i would have said it was about 20-25mph impact.
