Yam really have done a top job on the new R6.

Not just the styling, which makes it a dead ringer for the GP bike, but also because it's got an EXUP [the first 600 to have one I believe?] but I'm sure someone will shout if I've got that wrong

I was having a look at it at the NEC & it's a cracking looking bit of kit. Looks tiny when you're stood next to it, but when you sit on it it feels like a proper big bike. Clever clever stuff

The rear No. plate hanger looks a bit of a after thought

Ron on the production line shouts
"or sugar billy we forgot this were shud i put it"

design engineer replies
"errrrrr just mak a braket and stick it anywhere "

so the bulls penker did have a good look at the above foto of the R6

-1 out of 10 for artistic design

I agree with drew on that one, you can tell it wasn't meant to be there, just look at Rossi's bike above and you can see where the lines come from, but no need for a plate on the track

I can see a few of these are gonna end up with the smallest plates ever tucked up as far as they will go

I do like the bike as a whole but the number plate bracket is still very flexable looking and I think they could have made more of it by using a carbon post or something that looks better. But it is a very sharp looking bike.
