Aussie 2stroke racer now racing FZR1000exup - Hi!

Post by mboddy »

Hi Guys

I race my FZR1000 exup in PCRA NSW New Era 1 race class in Australia.
I have been racing Forgotten Era 2stroke Yamahas with PCRA for over ten years and my wife convinced me to click the buy it now button for the FZR on ebay. (Isn't she great!)
This year it has only seen two race meetings as it is still a bit rough around the edges.
But just wait until the Barry Sheene meeting at Eastern Creek in March!

Hello Mark and welcome to the forum. We've got quite an Aussie contingent now, and even a few racers and ex-racers, so you should be in good company.

Oh, and mine's a Hardy's chardonnay, since you're at the bar...

I have a couple that I could use but it then pushes me into New Era 2.
So I'll keep with the current brakes and New Era 1 until I get a lot faster.

The Leo Wanker award is for the dumbest act by someone in the club all year.
It will be awarded tonight and we will all breathe a sigh of relief when we don't get it.
There may be other novelty awards as well.
Will there be a BBQ award? Last year the contenders were Devo for destroying his GSX-R750 when it caught fire. Or Richard for T-Boning Neil at turn 1.
Other awards include the Autumn Leaves award.

I'll be getting the 500cc Forgotten Era Club Championship Trophy for 2006 on my RDLC370.

Get some bodywork on it....more streamlined..looks better as well....also the splintering of fibreglass sounds better than the grinding of alloy

Could you not use the six pots off the '95 and still stop in the same class

surely they would be an improvement...albeit not as good as the R1 stuff :unibrow:
