Ive got the R&Gs all over my ZX12R. Front forks, bar ends Frame and swing arm.

When the bike span round on me a few weeks back (mud on rear tyre) the R&Gs on the left hand side saved the bike ,not a scratch to the paint, the crash protector on the swing arm, bar end and frame were knackerd but thats what there on there for.

Most crash protectors are only good for low speed spills or if you unlucky enough to drop your bike, of course the bikes going to get shagged if you crash at speed with them fitted but it would still get shagged with out.

From what i have seen i think they are money well spent, id rather have to by new ends for my crash protectors than a new side panel for my zx12r.
Back on an Ace after a 6 year absence!

Still got my ZX12R though - Facebook search Kawasaki zx12r owners club uk.

have frame crash protectors on me ace ............. when i had me likkle spill ........... well they did their job, went over on the right and it snapped off ........ so fairing etc broken/smashed etc ............... but frame has not got a scratch on it ...........

so i think they do their job ........... was not R&G was a cheaper one off e-bay .......... perhaps why it snapped ........ not sure ...... but i was happy with what it did ...... plus it not look bad on bike being black .........

:D

Some crash bungs, like R&G's are designed to snap off if they take too much pressure so the frame mounting points don't receive any damage, I'd prefer that to happen rather than save a fairing panel and wreck the frame.
