I have to admit...it was the paint that sold it to me....it actually looks better in real life than the pic....the yellow is slightly brighter. I'm an RD freak so thats why the paint impressed.
Thanks for the comments guys.
Having now ridden it everyday since I bought it there are a couple of niggly issues. Neutral is hard to find, and the EXUP valve is playing up.....works most of the time, but if I give it some thrash it gives up the ghost for a bit and then starts working again. I must say though, I've ridden alot of bikes and this Yam takes some beating....its the roll on torque that does it for me, and so smooth when it does it. I have looked around for a big 4-stroke for a long time now with nothing really taking my fancy, but I saw this and thought ...yeah, Oh yeah, thats the baby, I want that.... and so far I am definately not disappointed.

Yes, it's me again, dragged out of the woodwork by a very splendid looking. . .ACE!?????
Okiedokes, you lugs know me, and that I don't like em too much, ace's that is, but I think this little beauty has just changed my mind, the entire bike is transformed by that cracking paint job!
Nice one Gareth, I think you'll fit in nicely around these part.
Now I'm off into obscurity again, see ya chaps.
