To fit the dogs,
loosen the 2 nuts that hold the dogs on,
After you crack the nuts loose you will probably have to hold the other end of the bolt to stop it turning.

Make sure the bike is supported cause when you remove the bolts holding the dogs on your suspension will no longer hold the bike up, so don't use a paddock stand cause your bike will end up on the floor!

Remove both bnuts and remove both bolts.

You can now fit your new dogs.

I don't know if the Ace is the same as the Exup but I had to remove my silencer to get the bolts out that go through the dogs.

You should be able to do this in about 15 minutes at the most.

The only thing to do now is make sure you have a good bit of leverage on your ratchet or sammy bar or whatever you are using.

You can probably forget spanners if that is what you are trying it with

Crack the nuts with the bike on the ground first and then lift it and support it before actually removing the bolts.

The other thing to do is not to lift the ratchet to loosen it but push it down instead.

Incidentaly you are turning it the right way?

Any work I do to my bike if it involves loosening major bolts I loosen them all before putting it on the paddock stand
