Pics of the necessary work regarding grinding would be useful for the folk that have never had to do it before. It'd also show what involved with the caliper swap

Polished forks would look cool  ....with gold nitrided stanctions :D
I like the idea of gold stanchions, though cost is an issue at the moment.
I hate polishing, so fork bottoms will be painted, its bad enough the frame and swing arm are polished, was going to have them powdercoated, but perhaps at a later date.
I`ll post up a few pics when i get round to doing the calliper conversion.

Not much to add at the moment, just got a few quotes for the gold stanchions.
Safe to say that they are going to stay chrome, with the bottoms sprayed!

Well Chaps, been "oop North" again to fetch my engine, and deliver Jons new bike.
Jon had the kettle on, and made me a lovely cup of tea! Thanks mate.

Apparently, the engine is a very tight fit, so i applied the "Arlen Ness" technique, i blocked up the engine on the floor, then dropped the frame over the engine, pretty easy really!

Bit of a struggle to jack it up and lifting it to fit swing arm and forks, but got there in the end after a bit of sweat and plenty of swearing.
