The road bike that was then a track bike is now my road bike

Post by higgers »

My YZF750, could be called a YZF750RR, however tell me what you think of it. It started as a road going YZF750R in MotoGP M1 colours, could not keep that, even though I am a fan of MotoGP and more so a Yamaha man. However, I was so impressed with Haga's entry into WSB that it had to converted to a track bike with a race faring painted in Haga WSB colours as you can see. What can you spot I have changed?

These were taken when it was first finished. Brew the race prepped engine at 150mph on start finish at Cadwell Park. The camera was also on it way out. When I get the bike back after the final fixes by my race engineer, I'll post new pictures, clearer, more detailed and altogther better from my new camera. However, do you can see what I changed in the second pic. Name it!

No, that's an original YZF750R tank with it's fuel pump inside. I know all about the problems R1's have from a technical view. If you, or anybody, wants to know, contact me. Higgers

Well, it looks like an R1 front fairings, sub frame and rear fairing, R1 forks & mirrors (?). Q. Are they Original YZF750/1000 disks? Kept the footpegs, swingarm (wise).

Oh, forgot to mention that exhaust. Q. does that discolour your rear fairing when hot? Plus; did you melt your right boot on the up link pipe or did you spot that first and put a deflector on?
