Suspension Upgrades

Post by EXUPMarky »

Folks.

Are there any alternative rear shocks I can look at for my 89 EXUP?

Read about S1000RR or I could go with a new Hyperpro?

Cheers

Will be interested to know if the BMW S1000RR rear shock is a straight fit. There are plenty of these available on eBay

A quick update in that talking to St Neots Motorcycles who are both very local to me and have helped with everything associated to my Honda RS 250 & really do know their stuff - I shall get the shock to Falcon Shock Absorbers who will service the EXUP unit to be hopefully as good as new again.

I want to try and keep the bike original, so with a shock service and some Ohlins fork springs that should be fine for my requirements.

I did have a quick look and there's all sorts on ebay. Most of these BM units like my GS are electronic.
