Hello was wondering if anyone has a genesis 87/88 cdi for sale. I am also looking on line but was hoping someone here maybe. I was too late on the one advertised previously. Thanks.

Hello. Sorry but I am a bit confused by your post. Were there some pictures? I am looking for a genesis 87/88 cdi. It is marked TID14-57.....2GH-10.7528. I hope this helps. If it is please let me know how we could do this (payment,postatge,etc.). Thanks

Thank you Stig. In my search for cdi testing and repairs I came across Carmo uk. They will test for apx. 60 pounds and repair for under 175. They list many cdi s including the exup. Hope this is of interest.

Thanks for the links and info. good call. Just waiting on finance. Carmo does seem a bit expensive but if you wanted a guaranteed job then its good. I will be buying secondhand( affordability). I think its going to take a number of years to complete this bike to the level I want. Still gives me something to think about/ occupy my thoughts.

Your best bet is to find a secondhand one for 60 quid or so. Testing and rebuilds can get very expensive. Often you pay the test fee and it can't be fixed. Anyway, it's winter so you have time on your side.

Also you got Stig out of hibernation. Time to fumigate the duvet.
Keep on keepin' on.

I've told you before to stop looking at my pink bit.

Anyway I like to stand out from the crowd. I don't follow the herd.

I wonder if Teego will mention my leathers, it's been a while since he has. :snore: :snore: :snore: :p
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Thanks for the help given in my search. I got a deal on ebay for 50. ( it was all I had). Result. It was one of the ones sent in the link. I am told it comes from a running bike so I am hoping.

Can't let you down John. You sure don't follow the herd. You wear the herd.
