carb sync nozzles

i watched youtube video on syncing the carbs (on a thunder ace ). very similar i hope.
and the motor had nozzles and factory blanked off rubber balance tubes already in situ.(said the vid mech)
was this just a european spec ?
i got brass tubes but its a right ballache to fit them .
i looked at the parts list and dont see them.
any advise would be nice thanks mark.

The tubes install under the inlets and can be left in situ with the hoses attached as long as they're sealed off. Saves a lot of grief

i had an ancient mercury sync tool ,which i tried to use but it was jumping around too much to use.
so i got by with a uni-syn tool and moving it between the carbs.
but i will make some better brass nozzles and plugs and get heavy duty rubber
and leave in situ.

Take your carbs off... Locate the four grub screws and remove them.. Next, purchase x4 M5 or M6 mig welding tips and threadlock these into place, attach your permanent sync hoses to the tips and job done...

Also, if your sync gauges are bouncing everywhere, buy x4 plastic taps from an aquarium /pet shop,vey cheap, and use these to steady the flow.. Remove taps and seal your already fitted sync tubes...

I bought the kits from Morgan Carbtune & fitted them to the R1 & the FZR-R. Work a treat

I too synchronised mine with the Carbtune kit. Getting the nozzle fitted into cyl 3 was a PITA

I would worry about leaving them in-situ, as they are only designed to be installed finger tight. There are no flats on them to fit with tools.

Has anyone fitted a set long term, and not had any issues with them falling out ? (The Carbtune version)

It would be a lot easier to leave them in place and use blanks
