dead fingers

Post by Flipper »

Hi Guys.

long time no speak. Got a bit of an issue. getting worse and worse dead fingers on my right hand. l'm running a 91 EXUP, fairly standard, shorty can and stage 3 dynojet kit.

l have not ridden much of her over last couple of years, but getting back on her. This dead fingers thing has been happening over the last few years, but is getting worse. l have tried running her at different rev bands, but nothing seems to make any difference.

Left hand not any issue.

Anybody got any suggestions?

thanks

Chris

Changing bar weights for either heavier or lighter will alter the resonance through the bars

Hi all.

further to this, l took bar end weight off altogether, now perfect, rode 150 miles last Sunday with no problems.

Question.
Where can l get a lightweight bar end that is going to fit the exup thread?

thanks.

I'd be tempted to buy a ropey pair of standard end weights & have them machined down.
I suffer with pins & needles in my left hand slightly whilst riding my Fazer 1000 but a pair of grip puppies fitted over my standard grips helps a lot.
