Are you wanting some?

If so you've a better chance of seeing a virgin on a unicorn than finding a good pair of those I'm afraid.

They are very rare now.

One of our members is on with a project at the moment, in try to make some out of carbon fibre. Not heard from him for a while so I'm not sure how far he's on with it. :(
Bit of advice. Buy a good bed and a good pair of shoes, because if you aren't in one you'll be in the other.

Hello Paul. How's things?

Like matzxr says there for the RU's.

Its a pity Yamaha didn't come up with that type for the R model because they are a lot stronger.

I must have Gypsy blood in me because we seem to be moving houses quite a lot. Just on with renovating this bungalow we've moved into. Won't bore you with it but I'm on with the last two bedrooms this weekend. Plastering, painting and then bedroom furniture fitted. Then I must get on with the bike jobs, I'm hoping to be on the road April 1st.

I see you're at it again then on the other post. What's that old saying?? The devil makes work for idle hands.

I've got a pair of very good condition infills for the Ru model but none for the R. I removed the ones on my FZR-R as they were damaged.

(can't put up pics as photobucket doesn't work on this forum)
Bikes-they're in the blood.

Carbon Infills

Post by jonny bravo »

Sorry - getting the infills made dropped off the radar, as two young kids and a third on the way in the next 3-4 weeks has made me somewhat distracted, plus still using my Exup so haven't had time to strip it to do the job!

Also flat out at work, and building carbon boats takes priority as that pays the bills....

Looking at a BMW hacker tomorrow to take the '89 off the road for a full rebuild and will get on with it!

Will keep you posted - Sorry haven't said hello for a year too!
